How Long Does It Take To Charge A 12volt Battery

Day 2011 Taiji Quan

The clock "countdown" continues its journey. Not be long now, the Taiji Quan Day 2011 is approaching and this year we will be part of an event that will unite all the peoples of this planet. The question I ask myself a few days, and that round is:

"meaning you still have to repeat this meeting? And why? "

On two occasions in recent years we met and we spent a whole day devoted to the Taiji Quan. The participation of students in both curious and went beyond all expectations. Someone came to the conclusion of an experience, others have been the springboard to launch into a different experience from the usual sports.

So I repeat: "Why?"

We are human: it is easy to fall into the trap of ego. You can participate to feel different from what surrounds us every other day of the year. Maybe to feel better than others, stronger and invincible. To hide their own uncertainty behind a beautiful mask of "martial arts" or to count the following students and friends.

I would like your contribution, from the heart, to understand the meaning of what we are going to live. Two lines or words, without any censorship or filtering.

await your comments, thoughts or criticism.

Achievements in the Martial Arts Martial Arts and violence

Let's face it, is human: any What started the targets we set ourselves. And 'natural, often considered a mistake to not have them. But for a martial artist becomes crucial to define the concept of "objective" and what importance to assign. Some

arises: to be the best, get the black belt, being appreciated by the teacher and fellow students. Other

be searched with absolute dedication: a union of body and spirit, awareness of being, control, concentration, growth.

The former are short-term, have short legs. Born after a short tour and ending on oneself. The latter requires a greater commitment and a job is often not visible from the outside. Sometimes those who have the appearance the warrior has only the dress of the warrior. Who is a warrior does not wear the mask of the warrior. Then the objectives lose their importance; the way, as a process of transformation, becomes the very reason for the spirit of the warrior.

also defeat the opponent becomes an obstacle on the path of self-knowledge. What really affects the warrior is their growth at various levels, to be renewed constantly. The objectives of a warrior does not leave permanent traces in his mind, every day should be renewed afresh from new beginnings.

At this level the challenges of practitioners become unnecessary obstacles: the awareness of its "strength" is not affected from concepts such as victory or defeat.

Sample Letter To A Friend Who Is Depressed

The primordial instinct is part of the conservation of all forms of life. Born with a living being, and with different interpretations and values, has led to wars over the centuries, birth and death of nations and schools to train warriors.

In contrast to this aggressive push some disciplines have operated in the opposite direction. The disciplines of theological or philosophical roots repress these instincts: the man is a higher being and can not live with such low pulse. For these schools, the aggression is the result of an animal instinct to distance themselves from that. Separating the material part of the spiritual, mortifying the body to uplift the soul.

martial disciplines have operated on the contrary affirming the ineffectiveness of repression. We are and we are animals, despite having embarked on a path of growth, they live with these aspects of his being.

Recognising the instinct for preservation of martial arts are taught to manage it properly without moral judgments. In particular, the taijiquan performed slowly with their techniques taught in the determination of natural aggression sublimated into a series of movements like a dance. The detached view, as if by an outside observer, the techniques that are performed to understand and manage leads their natural instincts. Even the use of arms becomes an excuse to get to know better the mechanisms that regulate the "machine man" in its entirety.
So the concept of victory or defeat became an insignificant detail, the martial artist accepts both without joy or sorrow, with detachment. The same concept

proclaimed for centuries in the West: "... turn the other cheek" becomes an attitude of passive acceptance, but of conscious participation and personal growth.

"these lines are born one evening recently, the discussion with a woman who I never met and did not allow me to enter the exhibition from my point of view on the subject. Thank you for what you taught me accidentally. "
